Function

Reporting to the Manager of Service Operations, the Client Support Analyst provides technology consultation, installation, support, and maintenance services through the ITS Service Desk, the UNB Mobility Centre and through service agreements with UNB Departments. The position also supervises students.
Representative Responsibilities
%u2022Provide quality tier 1 technology support for users.
%u2022 Professionally maintain and support technology in departments.
%u2022 Effectively and efficiently install and connect technology hardware and software.
%u2022 Provide technology purchasing recommendations that meet users%u2019 needs and assist in the    building of technology budgets.
%u2022 Effectively supervise student employees.
%u2022 Contribute to successful personal and team performance.
%u2022 Participate in project teams as an effective team member and complete independent projects successfully and on time.
Requirements
%u2022Community College Diploma in a technology field with 2 years related technology experience.
%u2022 Excellent customer service skills.
%u2022 Experience troubleshooting Windows, Macintosh and Linux operating systems.
%u2022 Must be willing to work occasional overtime, participate in regular after hours on-call or have hours adjusted.
%u2022 Participation in after-hours emergency response if available.
%u2022 Ability to prioritize work, apply evolving departmental standards and meet deadlines. 
%u2022 Ability to adapt to changes in work and technical environments.
%u2022 Exercise initiative to independently learn new technologies.
