The Coordinator provides organizational and administrative support to the team and liaises with international and external stakeholders of the network. The Coordinator helps build research teams and seeks out new funding opportunities for these teams. The Coordinator also helps plan yearly stakeholder meetings and regular teleconferences with Pan-Canadian Coordinators across Canada. Some provincial and Canadian travel is required. This position can be located at UNB Fredericton or Saint John.
Representative Responsibilities
·    Establish and maintain mechanisms for effective interdisciplinary communication, collaboration and decision-making among the Network’s stakeholders, including multiple levels of health care and government involved in the Network.
·    Assist in the development and maintenance of mechanisms to engage key experts, patients, citizens, government agencies, non-profit agencies, and universities in the Network.
·    Create and maintain strong linkages with out-of-province and international experts.
·    Assist in the development and submission of grant applications, including seeking matching funding.
·    Assist with the financial aspects of the Network grant.
·    Work with the Network’s administrative and communications officer to provide administrative support services, including organizing meetings and functions, as required by the team.
·    Assist with event preparation, planning and delivery of stakeholder events.
·    Conduct literature reviews and assist research teams affiliated with the network.
·    Master’s degree or equivalent in related field.
·    Experience with grant submission platforms, searching online article databases and identifying & synthesizing key articles.
·    Effective interactive communication skills, ability to work with teams and commercial companies.
·    Experience managing budgets.
·    Excellent writing skills, French language skills would be an asset.
·    Ability to work regular weekday hours and variable hours as required.
·    Excellent planning, coordinating and organizational skills.
·    Strong writing and computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite.
·    Experience in coordinating complex projects with multiple team members in New Brunswick and across other provinces.
