FACULTY OF COMPUTER SCIENCE
 
The Canadian Institute for Cybersecurity (CIC) at the University of New Brunswick’s Fredericton Campus invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the field of Cybersecurity.
 
To be considered for the position the applicant should have a PhD degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or in a relevant discipline plus three years related experience. The successful candidate is expected to develop a strong, externally funded research program, supervise graduate and undergraduate students, and be able to teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels in Cybersecurity. A demonstrated willingness to work with industry is considered an asset. Exceptional oral and written communication skills and the ability to work on a team project are essential. 
 
Subject to budgetary approval, this position will start on or before July 1, 2018. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience of the successful applicant.
