FACULTY OF KINESIOLOGY
 
The Faculty of Kinesiology is seeking applicants with a record of or demonstrated potential for excellence in university teaching and research in Health/Behaviour Psychology for a full time tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level. Candidates with an earned PhD and a research focus in one or more of the following areas will be considered: neurological and cognitive health including cognitive ergonomics; applied lifestyle behavior change including nutrition; psychological barriers to health; and/or psychological impact of chronic health conditions; and health epidemiology. Duties will include teaching courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels in our BSc(Kinesiology) and MSc in Exercise and Sport Science programs. The candidate will be expected to teach in one or more of the following areas: Cognitive Aspects of Human Performance; Neural Control; Exercise Psychology; Nutrition; Health and Wellness; Epidemiology; and Research Methods. The successful candidate will be expected to establish a competitive, independent research program and supervise graduate students completing their research primarily in the MSc in Exercise and Sport Science program.
 
In the Fall of 2018, the Faculty will be moving to a new 60,000 ft2 building with 7,000 ft2 of teaching and 12,300 ft2 of research space, respectively. Interested candidates are encouraged to visit our website for details of each degree program within the Faculty http://www.unb.ca/kinesiology.
