In this first year course students will look at the origin of both individual and group rights, pull on threads that appear in other modules and UNB courses, including responsibility to those living in poverty and what the role is of a leader in a democratic community.

Citizenship requires an awareness of civics and community issues from an interdisciplinary perspective. This module will introduce the area with reference to a topical community issue. |
