This is a third year course that helps students build on their knowledge of the RC well being learning outcome.
Mindfulness training cultivates our innate ability to be present; develops calm, concentration, insight, and fosters personal growth. Students will examine the theory of mindfulness and engage experientially in a range of practices. They will become increasingly familiar with wisdom of their own minds and bodies, the larger the environment in which they live, and the ways mindful leadership may be applied and integrated into their own daily, academic, and professional lives.
Masters Degree or equivalent experience.
In addition to competence in mindfulness the candidate should be committed to student learning, use active approaches to educating students. The successful candidate will have demonstrated teaching ability and a strong interest in working with RC's teaching model. They need to work with other instructors to make sure the course complements concurrent courses.
