Encaenia week events

The University of New Brunswick holds four ceremonies for its graduating students. The ceremonies and events are held at the Richard J. CURRIE CENTER and the Student Union Building (SUB) ballroom.

Ceremony A: Science and Nursing

Wednesday, May 16

7:30 – 8:45 a.m.
Pick up procession cards and academic attire at the Currie Center (1st floor).

9 a.m. (arrive by 8:45 a.m.)
Orientation at the SUB Ballroom.

9:30 a.m.
Academic procession forms for the march to the Currie Center; students line up in Mackay Promenade. *

10 a.m.
Ceremony A is held on the 4th floor of the Currie Center.

11:30 a.m.
Encaenia Tea for graduates, family and friends.

Gowns must be returned to the Currie Center by 1:30 p.m.

Ceremony B: Business Administration, Education and Kinesiology

Wednesday, May 16

Noon - 1:30 p.m.
Pick up procession cards and academic attire at the Currie Center (1st floor).

1:30 p.m. (arrive at 1:15 p.m.)
Orientation at the SUB Ballroom.

2 p.m.
Academic procession forms for the march to the Currie Center; students line up in Mackay Promenade. *

2:30 p.m.
Ceremony B is held on the 4th floor of the Currie Center.

4 p.m.
Encaenia Tea for graduates, family and friends.

Gowns must be returned to the Currie Center by 6 p.m.

Ceremony C: Arts, Law and Renaissance College, Interdisciplinary Studies

Thursday, May 17

7:30 – 8:45 a.m.
