Dates and Times of Graduation Ceremonies
The University of New Brunswick in Fredericton will hold four graduation ceremonies in The Richard J. CURRIE CENTER, fourth floor, for Encaenia 2013.
Ceremony A
Wednesday, May 29, 2013, 10 a.m.
Degrees will be awarded to students in the faculties of Science and Nursing
Ceremony B
Wednesday, May 29, 2013, 2:30 p.m.
Degrees will be awarded to students in the faculties of Business Administration, Kinesiology, and Education
Ceremony C
Thursday, May 30, 2013, 10 a.m.
Degrees will be awarded to students in the faculties of Arts, Law and Renaissance College, and Interdisciplinary Studies
Ceremony D
Thursday, May 30, 2013, 2:30 p.m.
Degrees will be awarded to students in the faculties of Engineering, Forestry & Environmental Management and Computer Science

Tickets are required for admission to the ceremonies. See details.
Programs
Complimentary souvenir programs will be distributed to graduates and guests at the Currie Center.
Special Seating and Hearing Assist Sets
Guests who require special seating arrangements because of mobility or health issues should contact David Saad at the Currie Center by Wednesday, May 22. E-mail dsaad@unb.ca or call (506) 453-4876.
A limited number of hearing-assist sets are available at the Currie Center. To reserve a set in advance, please contact David Saad at dsaad@unb.ca or (506) 453-4876. The hearing-assist sets will be available for pick up at the Ticket window at the Currie Center, Plaza Level Lobby (4th floor). Borrowers will be required to leave a photo ID as security. It will be returned to the borrower when the set is returned at the end of the ceremony.
Encaenia Teas
Immediately following each graduation ceremony there will be an Encaenia Tea for graduates, family and friends. Light refreshments will be served. The Teas will be held in the McConnell Hall Dining Hall.
The Associated Alumni will be selling diploma frames at the teas.
Parking
Parking is available in the main lot of The Richard J. CURRIE CENTER accessible from Beaverbrook Street and from Peter Kelly Drive. Parking is also available up the hill from the Currie Center in the lots between Neville Homestead and the Dunn/Kidd/Tibbits Residence complex as well as at the Student Union Building (SUB). All are within walking distance of the Currie Center.
Flowers
Bouquets of fresh flowers will be available for purchase in the lobby of the Currie Center immediately prior to and during the graduation ceremonies. The prices range from $15 for a half dozen roses to $30 for the graduation bouquet with one dozen roses. Click here to pre-order. Accommodations on Campus
Residential Life, Campus & Conference Services invites graduates to stay in residence during Encaenia week. A single room in student hotel is offered free of charge to any graduating students, for three consecutive nights.For friends and family, we have rooms available in our tourist hotel. A single room is $38.42 including tax per night, and a double room is $58.20 including tax per night. For larger groups or families we have two and three bedroom apartments available for $89.27 per night or $123.17 per night including tax, respectively.
Weekly rates are also available for stays of seven nights or more.
