Financial Support
Full-time applicants who wish to be considered for funding should apply to the School of Graduate Studies before June 1. Applications arriving after this date may be considered for acceptance, but funding cannot be guaranteed. A limited number of Graduate Teaching Assistantships (GRA), and Graduate Research Assistantships (GRA) are available for full-time students. GRA's are available only for the first year of study and are awarded competitively based primarily on academic standing. Applicants are also encouraged to apply to the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) for funding.
Scholarships and Funding
UNB has scholarship/funding opportunities available for graduate students. Students are encouraged to visit the School of Graduate Studies scholarships website.
The Work-Study program provides part-time on-campus employment during the fall and winter terms.
The Canadian Disability Policy Alliance (CDPA) offers Masters and PhD Scholarships for students working in the area of disability policy.
