Established in 1785, we are among the oldest universities in Canada and have been awarding graduate degrees since 1830. We were also recently named one of Canada’s most entrepreneurial universities, affirming our unique and invigorating blend of rich, scholarly tradition with cutting-edge progams.

Across our two campuses in Fredericton and Saint John, we host more than 1,500 graduate students from a wide array of countries which lends an additional exciting cultural diversity to our UNB community.

UNB Fredericton
