Carleton Hall - Informal Learning Space

Near the elevator on the 2nd floor of Carleton Hall, we've added comfortable seating and power outlets to each seat to allow a small quiet study space for students to go.  This space is great for individual or small group work, and we're looking to put up original student artwork in the year ahead.

Encourage Active and Collaborative Learning

We apply our Principles in the Classroom both inside and outside the classroom.  This informal learning space is a great place for out-of-the-classroom learning in a flexible and comfortable environment.

Provide a Supportive Campus Environment

This area was going unused prior to creating this informal space, the power and seating used are durable and long lasting, and this area will require little maintenance in the years ahead to keep it a highly functional and inviting space.
