Student membership

A student membership provides you with access to The Richard J CURRIE CENTER and LB Gym/SMA Pool.

Full-time students

If you’re a full-time UNB student, you’re already a REDS Recreation member! Your UNB UCard serves as a REDS Rec membership card.

To be considered a full-time student, you must be enrolled in a minimum of four classes.

Part-time students

Part-time students must pay the facility access fee at financial services to obtain a membership.

Note: UNB staff who work full-time while pursuing education part-time pay faculty & staff rates. Post-doctorate students also pay faculty & staff rates.

Family of UNB students

Family refers to the member, their spouse/common-law partner, and their immediate children (under 19 years of age). Parents, siblings and grandchildren are not eligible for student family memberships.
