Fee-Based & Group Fitness Programs
At URec we have a number of programs to help you lead an active life! From Group Fitness classes (which are included in your URec membership) to Fee-Based classes, we have something for everyone!
URec is pleased to offer a variety of fee-based programs for URec members and non members (members receive a 20% discount on our fee-based programs). Check out the side navigation for more information on available courses! We also offer programs for individuals with Osteoporosis, those with neurological conditions, and most recently we've developed a post cardiac rehabilitation program. Check out the schedule below and feel free to contact us for further information.
You can register for classes online (step-by-step instructions) or through our membership services desk (call them at 506.453.4579 or visit them on the ground floor of the Richard J. Currie Center). All participants will be asked to complete a waiver and PAR-Q health questionnaire. You may print them off or complete the forms at the membership services desk.
Drop In Classes
Don't like commitment? Weren't able to sign up for a full program? Have a hectic schedule that doesn't allow you to attend a class every week? Try a drop in class! We are now offering drop in rates for all yoga and Pilates classes. The drop in cost for a yoga or floor Pilates class (i.e.: not reformer or mat/reformer) is $11.50 for members and $14.00 for non members (plus HST). All drop in requests are to be sent to Alina Cress (email@example.com) to ensure there is available space in the class that you wish to attend! Hope to see you on the mat!
Group Fitness Program
URec is pleased to provide a variety of group fitness classes included in your base and combined memberships. Classes are offered all year round and include indoor cycling, muscle conditioning, cardio, Step, and more. URec hires and trains certified group fitness instructors.
