The Student Abroad Program gives you the opportunity to obtain international experience while completing your UNB degree.
There are various options available:
- Exchanges, where you study for one or two terms at one of our partner universities abroad
- North-American Mobility Program - study in Mexico or the US with generous federal funding
- Internships, such as the Washington Center's Global Trade & Regional Integration Program
- Field trips through the biology department's annual Caribbean shark or dolphin course
- Short-term group travel opportunities through the College of Extended Learning's Travel Study Programs

Travel while you learn
Past students have had wonderful experiences through the Student Abroad Program - some have taken courses in the Australian Outback, celebrated New Year in Paris, visited Omaha Beach in Normandy, France, walked around in Rome, or taken business courses in Singapore - all while studying and earning credits towards their UNB degree. Students return home with lots of adventures, new friends from all over the world, self-confidence and academic credits for courses taken abroad.
