MEET YOUR TEAM OF SUPPORT:

Jen
Jennifer Adam

Hey guys! My name is Jennifer Adam, and I am in my third year of a joint Earth Science-Physics degree program here at UNB! I've spent my whole life in Fredericton and I think it's a great place to live and study. I absolutely love the Science program at UNB so far, and I spend most of my time in and around the Science Library. When I'm not studying, my hobbies include playing soccer, snowboarding, reading, and coaching the FHS badminton team. I am an avid fan of almost every type of music, and you can usually tell it's me by the fact that I always have earphones in while studying! I am looking forward to meeting all of you, so don't hesitate to stop and chat if you see me! - Jenn

Kiersten Amos

Hi! My name is Kiersten Amos, and I'm in my 4th and FINAL year of a Biology-Chemistry Degree at UNB. I’ve lived in Fredericton for most of my life, and you can usually find me in the science library or at coffee shops around town (I don’t actually drink coffee, but I am an avid tea and hot chocolate drinker!). In my spare time, I like to volunteer at the hospital, hang out with my friends and watch excessive amounts of Grey’s Anatomy or Scrubs. It is my biggest dream to become a doctor and spend my life helping other people! If you ever see me around, please come over and chat! I'd love to meet you!

I am a member of the Cross-Country and Track & Field team here at UNB, and I also play soccer for fun throughout the year. If you ever have any questions, I’ll be happy to answer, or at least point you in the right direction. When I’m not in class, you can usually find me in the Science Concourse. Don’t be a stranger!

katieKatie Bonner

Hi! I'm Katie! I was born and raised in Rothesay, NB and am currently a 3rd year Bio-Chem student  here at UNB. This is my first year being a Science Peer Mentor and I'm super excited! When I'm not in  class, I spend my time on campus studying, working as a student assistant at the Science & Forestry Library, helping out with Let's Talk Science as an assistant coordinator, and prepping for fun and exciting events with the Peer Mentors. I typically spend my free time binge-watching tv shows or exploring downtown Fredericton. I'm a pretty chatty individual, so if you ever see me around campus and have any questions about anything at all, don't hesitate to come say hi!

Jacob Hambrook

Hey all, my name is Jacob. I am currently in my third year of a Biology-Chemistry degree here at UNB. This is going to be my first year as a Science Peer Mentor. As far as academics go, I chose the Bio-Chem program because biology does awesome stuff, and chemistry explains why that awesome stuff does what it does. The program also opens up a lot of future career options. Outside of academics I enjoy playing basketball at the Curry center, I'm a diehard Toronto Raptors fan, and I have the personal goal of planting over 250,000 trees while working for Irving. I also enjoy living in the best house on campus, MacKenzie!!!
