• Jeff Langille, MSc Graduate Student, won the “Don Hornibrook Graduate Student Prize in Physics” for the best graduate student seminar in 2011
• 12 Sept 2011: The UNB Physics Department Fall 2011 Colloquium Schedule has been released with speakers on Sept 16, 23 & 30th; October 7, 14, 21 and 28th; November 14, 18 & 25th; December 2nd.

• 28 June 2011: The Field Safety Policy is now in it's final format. All faculty, students, and staff members participating in field work for teaching or research purposes must adhere to this policy. Download the UNB Safety Policy for Academic and Research Field Work in PDF format. Download the Fieldwork Planning Form which must be completed prior to departure.
• June 2010: Damien Forthomme won the “Don Hornibrook Graduate Student Prize in Physics” for the best graduate student seminar in 2009
• Sept 2009: Alex Adair, MSc Graduate Student, won a prize for the best poster at the 10th International Conference on Magnetic Resonance Microscopy
• Jeff Langille, MSc Graduate Student, won the “Don Hornibrook Graduate Student Prize in Physics” for the best graduate student seminar in 2009
• 18 June 2009: Andrew Marble received the NSERC Doctoral Prize for the best PhD thesis of 2007 in Canada
• The Physics Department is proud to congratulate our Graduate Student, Hui Han, who was awarded the Don Hornibrook Prize at the 2008 Science Award Ceremony.
