The Black Holes meetings are held every two years in Canada, and were first started in 1995. The purpose of the conference is to bring together physicists, mathematicians and astronomers working in various aspects of black holes.

Immediately following Black Holes VI, the 12th Canadian Conference on General Relativity and Relativistic Astrophysics will take place at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, New Brunswick, May 17-19, 2007.

The White Point Beach Resort is on the Atlantic Coast of Canada. It is a short distance from the international airport in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
