Madeleine Adam
Hello! My name is Madeleine Adam, and I am a third year Medicinal Chemistry student. I grew up here in Fredericton and have enjoyed taking part in many sport and music aspects of the community. After I complete a Bachelor of Science degree, I plan to pursue graduate studies in Organic Chemistry! When I'm not busy with school, I enjoy playing soccer, traveling, and hanging out with family and friends. Denise Amirault
Hi Everyone! My name is Denise Amirault and I’m entering my 4th year of my biology-chemistry degree. I have hopes of attending medical school when I graduate from my undergrad. When I’m not busy studying I enjoy relaxing with friends and family, and going out too. This will be my first year as a peer mentor and I hope to make it a good one, so don’t hesitate to approach us, we’re here for you!

Victoria Baba
Hi everyone! I’m Vicky Baba and am in the 3rd year of my Biology Degree at UNB. I’ve moved around quite a bit in my life (five times) but call Oromocto, NB my home. After my degree, I hope to pursue a career in optometry. In addition to being a student, I compete for UNB’s Varsity Track and Field Team in the 60m dash, hurdles and long jump. When I’m not studying or training, I enjoy relaxing with family and friends, volunteering and coaching. I love talking with others so please don’t be afraid to ask! I hope to meet you this year and I hope you enjoy your time at UNB!
Nicholas Benfey
Hello all! My name is Nick Benfey and I am a 3rd year science student working away at my Biology-Chemistry degree. I’m new to the Peer Mentor family this year and can’t wait to be involved in making our time here a memorable one. As a general rule when I’m not around campus I can usually be found out skiing at Crabbe Mountain, or sitting in a comfortable spot drawing. I enjoy interesting hats and generally have one on my head. My latest style has seems to have earned me the nickname Waldo. I’m always happy to answer any questions you have, or just to spend time getting to know you guys. So if you’re up to the challenge, come see if you can find me! Nick

Jean-Francois Godin
Hi everyone! My name is Jean-François Godin and I’m from Beresfrod, NB. I’m entering my 4th and final year of the economics honours program and my experience with the science faculty so far has been a blast. I love reading, travelling and getting involved with my community. Fredericton is an awesome place to be and I hope you will take the time to check all that the events the university & the city has to offer you. I’m also involved with the University wrestling club which allowed me to travel the world to attend different events. If you have any questions concerning the different sport clubs and teams here at UNB, don’t hesitate to contact me or just come and talk to me whenever you see me around campus. Etienne Hache
Hey everyone! My name is Etienne Hache, and I am in my 3rd year of a Biology-Chemistry degree. Following my degree at UNB, I hope to attend a medical school in order to become a radiologist. During the academic year, I tend to spend most of my time in the Science Library. When I’m not studying, I enjoy volunteering, biking, and even skydiving! Although I’m not in Physics, my biggest dream is to one day visit the Large Hadron Collider at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland! Gabreille Maillet
Hey guys! My name is Gabrielle Maillet and I’m from Rusagonis, NB (a small town outside of Fredericton). I’m in my 5th year of my Science Degree and will be graduating with an Honours in Medicinal Chemistry this year. I’m not sure what I want to do when I graduate, but I’m currently considering education and pharmacy. When I’m not studying, I like to hang out with my friends and family. I love the outdoors, benzene rings, snow, coloring, everything Disney related and the ocean! My biggest dream is to someday travel to Europe and Australia! Alysha Neily
Hey everyone! My name is Alysha Neily and I am going into my 2nd year of a biology degree! When I’m not studying I love playing sports and am very competitive – my soccer team has even won provincials before. I lived at home this year, and was able to play basketball through townhouse, which was an absolute blast! If you ever see me around campus, don’t hesitate to stop and chat or ask a question! I am really excited to meet all of you and help you through your first year here at UNB!

Emma Sumner
Hi everyone! My name is Emma Sumner, and I'm in my 4th and final year of a Biology-Chemistry Honors degree. It is my hope to attend medical school when I finish my degree. I spent my childhood in Nassau, Bahamas, but have lived most of my life in Fredericton. When I'm not at school, I spend most of my free time in the Pediatrics Ward, the Veterans Health Unit, traveling, running, or involving myself in the UNB and Science community. Fredericton is a great place to live, and I have absolutely loved my time at UNB so far. You're likely to see me kicking around the Science Library, or lounging in our brand new furniture in the concourse, so feel free to say hi! I look forward to meeting you all and helping to ensure you love UNB just as much as I do!

Tom Steeves
Hi everyone! My name is Thomas Steeves and I’m entering my 5th and final year of science as a Biology-Chemistry Honours student. I’m from a small town called Juniper in New Brunswick, where the way of life is enjoying the outdoors – whether it be canoeing, camping, you name it. I’ve spent the past four years living on campus in residence, three of which as a student leader, and have finally made the move off-campus for my last year of study at UNB. I’m very passionate about music, especially guitar, and have been picking away for almost 7 years now. Tennis is another favorite hobby of mine, alongside of spending too much time at the Science Library. That being said, it is not difficult to find me – Hope to see you around!

Ashley Williams
Hi, there! My name is Ashley Williams and I am in my 3/4th year of a Biology Program. I grew up in a very small place called Tracy but now live in Fredericton, New Brunswick. I love reading, spending time with family and friends, and going to the movies. I am not sure yet what I would like to do once I am finished my degree, but I am hoping that I will be able to do some travelling, especially around Europe.
