Co-operative Science Education
Did you know that the Faculty of Science at the University of New Brunswick has co-op programs in Biology, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Mathematics, Physics and Statistics that can help you test drive potential careers in your chosen field?
Participation in science co-op exposes you to a professional work environment and provides the opportunity to apply classroom learning in a workplace. Upon return to the classroom you continue to develop the skills and knowledge required in the workplace and further evaluate your career possibilities.
After joining the co-op program we will challenge you to think about, what you are good at, what are some of your key skills, what you really enjoy doing and what is important to you.
The answers to these questions will help us determine which co-op opportunities are right for you.
Our co-op partners allow the workplace to become an extension of classroom and laboratory instructions. And, as such, co-op adds a unique dimension to your learning and preparation for entering your chosen profession.
