Research Interests: Nuclear Magnetic and Nuclear
Quadrupole Resonance. Application of two-dimensional NMR techniques in
study of molecular dynamics, coordination and interactions in
polymer/water systems (e.g. wood, proteins and cellulose materials).
Improved characterization of healthy, preneoplastic and neoplastic
tissue and applications in NMR medical imaging. Physics of NMR in liquid
samples. Application of NMR techniques to the study of molecular
dynamics in simple gas mixtures. Physics of structural phase transitions
and molecular dynamics in crystalline solids by NQR investigations.
Extension of magnetic resonance imaging techniques to problems in
inhomogeneous condensed matter systems. NMR imaging studies of
polymerization.
