Research Interests:
Molecular Phylogenetics within the Brown Algae (specifically, of the kelp family, Laminariaceae).

Special Responsibilities:
Coordination of the Summer 1998 Marine Biology Field Course to be held at the Huntsman Marine Science Centre, St. Andrews, N.B.
New lab course development for 2nd year - contributing to the Botany and Ecology Sections.
