Faculty of Science Awards Evening
The Faculty of Science Awards Evening was held on October 19, 2011 at the Crowne Plaza Lord Beaverbrook Hotel. We were pleased to recognize the contributions, dedication and perservance of our students, faculty, and staff. With such a combined success, the Faculty of Science continues to be a leader at the University of New Brunswick, in Canada, and in the International arenas both academically and with our research endeavors.
The evening began with a cocktail reception and musical prelude by Dr. Ben Newling, Calin Fraser, and Garry Hansen. Presentations were made throughout the evening honouring the Convocation Prize winners, Dean's List students, and Excellence in Teaching and Staff Excellence Awards in Science. Acknowledgement and appreciation was also shown to our Science Peer Mentors and PAL Leaders who commitment their time and energy to the Faculty and their Peers.
