About the House
Opened in 2006, our newest housing option, Elizabeth Parr-Johnston Residence, includes all of the aspects of living on your own and the benefits of living right on campus. These suites are available to upper year undergrads (third year and higher), second degree students, mature students and Masters students.
Available in two and three bedroom suites, each suite has its own washroom, full kitchen (including all major appliances, including a microwave and dishwasher) and living room area with furniture, plus each bedroom has a double bed, dresser, wardrobe, desk and chair. Leases are signed individually for 8-Month periods and rooms are rented individually, so you never have to worry if your roommates don't pay their rent on time!
We also have a limited number of one bedroom suites that are wheelchair accessible and are reserved for residents with disabilities.
Elizabeth Parr-Johnston Residence is connected to the campus network, allowing residents to access ResNet internet and cable in addition to local telephone service.

House Trivia
Despite opening in 2006, this residence didn't officially receive its name until 2011, when it was named in honour of UNB's first female president, Elizabeth Parr-Johnston, who served as the University's 16th president, from 1996-2002.
