About the HouseMcLeod House

Opened in 1974, McLeod House is our tallest residence at UNB. The 7-Storey high-rise is located at the top of College Hill on the south end of campus. McLeod House is unique on campus due to the great mixture of residents that we have here. Each year we welcome first year students, law students, grad students, and over half the international students on campus. Students from all over the world build lasting connections with each other, which has lead many of our Canadian students to travel and explore outside of Canada. It's amazing how much easier travel plans are when you have a place to stay in Austria, or Sweden, or even Singapore! The wide variety of people you will meet in McLeod house makes for an unforgettable university experience. Our annual Halloween Social is traditionally a huge hit, as are our monthly international food nights, Wine & Cheese nights, and our Valentine Formal at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. If you're looking for something special in your residence experience, McLeod House is definitely the place for you.

House Charity

Our house charity is the Juvenile Diabetes Association. Proceeds from events like the formal and socials as well as from our holiday candy-gram tradition go to support this worthy cause.

House Trivia

McLeod offers the most number of single rooms available on campus and they have their own meal hall within the building!
