About the House
Opened in 1963, Lady Dunn Hall is the only remaining all-female house on campus. The house is named after Marcia Anastasia Christoforides also known as Lady Dunn. Dunn shares its building with Tibbits Hall and is attached to Joy W Kidd, the largest co-ed house on campus. The three houses share the DKT dining hall. Our house is very close with our brother house, Aitken, whom we have many events with throughout the year. Lady Dunn is very spirited house that always participates in many of the events held campus wide. Living in Dunn you become part of a sisterhood that believes in Grace, Strength and Knowledge
House Charity
Our house charity is the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. As an all female house this charity is especially close to our hearts. Throughout the year we have many fundraisers to help us reach our annual goal of $5000.00. Around the first of October we hold our Breast Cancer Awareness Weekend. The weekend kicks off with THINK PINK on Friday, Running of the ducks on Saturday and to finish off the weekend we participate in the Run for the Cure on the rUNBuddies team on Sunday. Other fundraisers include candy grams and the ever popular fashion show.

- Originally, Lady Dunn Hall was to be called Mary K. Tibbits Hall, in honour of the first female graduate at UNB. At the sod turning in 1961, Lord Beaverbrook decided instead to name it after Sir James Dunn's widow, who would become Lord Beaverbrook's wife two years later.
