Staying safe on campus

Security

Residences at UNB are locked 24 hours a day and access is gained through the use of an intercom system.

UNB Security & Traffic is responsible for the monitoring and securing of our University residences. The Residence Community works closely with Security staff, who provide regular internal and external patrols of the residences.

UNB Security & Traffic can be reached at 453-4830 on a 24-hour basis.

The University is also served by a student run Campus Patrol organization. Campus Patrol (CPs) provide security at campus events and regularly patrol the campus.

Parking

All student-operated cars and motorcycles must be registered with UNB Security & Traffic (located at the Wu Centre).

Students must park their vehicles in designated parking areas, according to the official parking map issued with their UNB parking permit. Parking permits can be purchased online or in person from the UNB Security & Traffic office at the Wu Centre.
