Keeping clean
Residents are responsible for the upkeep of their own rooms. This includes making the bed, changing the sheets, cleaning, dusting, and trash disposal. All rooms will be checked for cleanliness upon final check-out. If the room is not deemed to be clean, a damage fee may be charged to the resident. It is recommended that all students maintain the cleanliness of their rooms throughout the year to avoid the pressure of having to clean up a year's worth of mess, dirt and garbage in one session.
Janitorial services for common areas are provided by the University in all residences except Harrison and Neill House, which have opted to operate their own student janitorial services.
Although reasonable announcements will be attempted, residents are advised that the University reserves the right to conduct all maintenance and repairs in the residence buildings and dining halls without advance notice.
