House Orientation

Moving into residence can be challenging. Between trying to balance living on your own and schoolwork, life for first-year students can be stressful. Luckily, in our residences we have House Orientation Committees (aka HOCs) to help ease the transition.

HOCs are a group of student leaders who are selected to lead each house during Orientation Week. They’re experienced residents who know first-hand the many feelings you may be experiencing. They’ve been there! Their job is to make sure your introduction to university and residence life is positive and fun. HOCs will be wearing special t-shirts in their House colours so they’ll be easy to spot.
