UNB Fredericton Orientation

The Secret to Student Success: Getting to Know the New U

It's a new adventure, a new way of life and, for some of you, Fredericton is a new city and Canada may even be a new country. Orientation week will help you get to know your new university, new friends, and new academic and recreational programs. It's all designed to make you feel comfortable and confident in your new environment.

Whether you're coming straight from high school, transferring from another university, are a graduate or international student, living in residence or off campus, we have an orientation program just for you.

Summer Orientation, Advising and Registration: Saturday, June 5, 2010 or Saturday July 10, 2010

Choose your Saturday for a head start on first year. Meet your professors, get personalized academic advising and register early for the best selection of courses. Get to know the campus and your fellow students before you arrive in the fall!

Fall Orientation: Friday, September 3, 2010 - Thursday, September 9, 2010

This is where you'll make new friends, get to know your faculty and professors and meet key UNB support people. The weeklong campus-wide event is packed with social events and plenty of help with academic planning and registering for courses. Don't miss it!
