Classroom/clinical teaching summary

Pharmacology at the Master's level to NP students and to students in the north through open access. Clinical experience with undergraduate students in the community. Supervise experiences that are developed within the Community Health Clinic structure.

Research, grants & publications summary

Received a grant from Health Canada to discuss the addiction process with injection drug users in NB. Received a grant from SSHRC to conduct a qualitative study into how restructuring of the health care system has had an impact on the lives of nurses working in the NB. Was second author of a proposal to set up a community health clinic in Fredericton for the homeless, low-income and addicted populations.

  • Member of the Advisory Committee for the Community  Health Clinic (Currently the Nurse Manager); and a  number of subcommittees to look at hiring, evaluation  and financing for the clinic.
