UNB Law Pro Bono Students of Canada Chapter Wins Lexpert Zenith Award

The UNB Law Pro Bono Students of Canada (PBSC) Chapter was recently awarded a Lexpert Zenith Platinum Award in the category of "Pro Bono by Law School Student of Students" for their Family Law Legal Information Project (FLLIP).  The project created a family law legal information clinic for domestic violence victims living in Fredericton area shelters.  Third year law student Kathy Moulton, the ProBono Students Canada Student Coordinator (2009-2010), lead the project and accepted the award on behalf of UNB Law PBSC.

The Lexpert Zenith Awards celebrate Pro Bono Publico and honour leading Canadian law firms, in-house departments and law students committing their time, skills and mentorship to a diverse and valuable range of pro bono activities.

Congratulations to Kathy and all of the PBSC  FLLIP volunteers!

PBSC and FLIPP are always looking for volunteers, lawyer supervisors and other support.  To get involved, please e-mail probono@unb.ca
