UNB Law Welcomes Visiting Scholar
UNB Law welcomes Professor Stanley Yeo as a visiting scholar. Professor Yeo joins us from the National University of Singapore where he is a professor in their Faculty of Law. During his academic career spanning 27 years, Professor Yeo has taught in Australia, Canada, Japan and Singapore and published extensively in the fields of criminal law and criminal justice.
His major works include Compulsion in the Criminal Law, Fault in Homicide, Unrestrained Killings and the Law, Criminal Defences in Australia, Australian Criminal Justice and, most recently, Criminal Law in Malaysia and Singapore (with Neil Morgan and Chan Wing Cheong).
In 2003, Professor Yeo was awarded a Doctor of Laws by Sydney University for his substantial contribution to legal scholarship in the area of criminal defences in the common law world.
Professor Yeo will be visiting UNB Law for six months during which he will conduct research in his field of expertise.
