Congratulations to Profs. Jula Hughes and Karen Pearlston

UNB law professors Dr. Jula Hughes and Dr. Karen Pearlston have recently been granted awards from the Harrison McCain Foundation.

Dr. Hughes has received a $12,000 Harrison McCain Young Scholar Award for her research on the reform potential of Canada's Residential School Truth and Reconciliation Commission.

Dr. Pearlston has received a $11,400 Harrison McCain Visitorship Award to support work she will be doing at the University of Kent during her upcoming sabbatical.

Both awards were made as a result of university-wide competitions for proposals. Please join UNB Law in congratulating Dr. Hughes and Dr. Pearlston on this recognition of their outstanding scholarship by the University community.
