UNB Law Success at McKelvey Cup

Michael Ryan and Rachelle StandingMichael Ryan and Rachelle StandingCongratulations to the UNB Law McKelvey/Sopinka team (Michael Ryan, ‘08 and Rachelle Standing, ‘08 for the defence and Wayne Silliker, ‘08 and Clayton Swanton, ‘08 for the Crown)! The defence team placed 2nd at the regional McKelvey Cup, earning a spot at the national Sopinka Moot Competition scheduled to take place in Ottawa, March 14th and 15th. In addition to UNB Law’s strong showing in the team competition, Rachelle Standing won Best Advocate Overall and Best Direct Examination. Special thanks go to moot team coaches Professor Jula Hughes and Professor Geoff Bladon.
