Sacred Trust: Safeguarding Personal Health Information in New Brunswick
On Wednesday, October 1st, UNB Law hosted a public seminar on health care and privacy and the new personal health information Laws for New Brunswick.
The event took place in the newly renovated Mary Louise Lynch Room (Room 2) and featured presentations by the Honourable Michael Murphy, Minister of Health for the province of New Brunswick, Bernard Richard, Ombudsman, David Barry, Chair, Dept. of Health Privacy Working Group and Prof. David Townsend, UNB Faculty of Law.
This public seminar was presented by the Canadian Bar Association NB Branch’s Privacy and Technology Law Section, the UNB Faculty of Law and the Office of the Ombudsman.
