“Our success can be credited to the tremendous support of the law school community. We couldn’t be more pleased,” said Patricia Beh, a third-year law student and one of the event’s co-chairs.

This year was the 10th anniversary of the Charity Auction, and was the most successful in recent memory. The value of the donations collected surpassed last year’s total by over $2,000.

“We knew the night was going well when gift certificates starting selling for more than their face value. People were really getting into the spirit of a charity auction,” said Tyler Botten, also a third-year law student and the other event co-chair.

On Thursday, January 31st, the Charity Auction organizers presented the Fredericton Food Bank with a cheque representing the proceeds fo the event. Pictured above are organizers Patricia Beh and Tyler Botten on either side of a representative from the Food Bank.
