Employment Opportunity - Senior Instructor
The Faculty of Law invites applications for a one year contract position at the Instructor or Senior Instructor level. Consistent with the Collective Agreement between the University of New Brunswick and the Association of University of New Brunswick Teachers, the principal responsibility of this position is teaching. The appointment, which is subject to budgetary approval, takes effect on 1 July 2007.
The Faculty is looking for candidates who will take primary responsibility for the Faculty’s program of legal writing and advocacy. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching the legal writing and advocacy components of the Faculty’s first year Fundamentals of Advocacy course. The successful candidate will have additional teaching responsibilities that may include trial practice, professional conduct or other subjects.
Founded in 1892, UNB’s Faculty of Law is a collegial community with a deep commitment to its 240 students, offering a strong and well-rounded LL B programme in an attractive setting. The Hon G.V. Candidates will have a strong academic record and possess an LLB degree or equivalent. They will have a record of or potential for teaching excellence.
