A Conversation With Bernard Lord

On October 2nd, 2007, UNB Law was pleased to welcome former Premier, Bernard Lord, who spoke to students about his time in politics and his legal career. Bernard Lord was Premier of New Brunswick from 1999- 2006. Elected as the youngest Premier in Canadian history, Mr. Lord was distinguished by his flawless bilingualism, balanced approach to leadership and vision. Having practised law prior to entering politics, Bernard Lord has returned to the legal profession. He is senior counsel with the national law firm McCarthy TÃ©trault in their Montreal offices.
