UNB Law Welcomes First Year Class

This year, the Faculty of Law welcomed 91 new students to Ludlow Hall with a week full of events to keep everyone busy outside of classes. Tuesday kicked off with a morning meet and greet, before lunch with a keynote speech by the Honourable Gerard V. La Forest (UNB '49) on entering the legal field. Wednesday's family barbecue was a success yet again, and this year with the addition of a silent auction, $237 was raised for the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. A successful Orientation is due in large part to the contributions of the students and faculty members who acted as mentors throughout, as well as the financial contributions of some local and national law firms. The Orientation Committee would like to thank all those who supported the class of 2009 during their first week at UNB Law.
