UNB Law Debating Team wins Atlantic Championship

Debating Team members Tyler Botten and John Whelan On November 11 and 12, 2006 the UNB Law Debating Team competed in the CUSID Atlantic Region Championships at Dalhousie University. Teams competed from MUN, CBU, STFX, DAL, Acadia and UNB.

The UNB Law team of John Whelan (LL.B. candidate 2008) & Tyler Botten (LL.B. candidate 2008) won the championship, bringing back to the Cup after last year's first win for UNB Law at the tournament. The winning team went undefeated during the entire week-end. Both members ranked highly on individual speaker scores and John Whelan won top speaker honours at the tournament.
