Justice Carolyn Layden-Stevenson Speaks to Law Students

On November 7th, 2006, the Honourable Madam Justice Carolyn Layden-Stevenson of the Federal Court of Canada came to the UNB Faculty of Law to speak to students about the work of the Federal Court and the Federal Court Clerkship Program. After the presentation, Madam Justice Layden-Stevenson had a chance to meet and speak with students at a reception in the student lounge.

Madam Justice Layden-Stevenson was appointed to the Federal Court of Canada in January 2002. Prior to her appointment, Madam Justice Layden-Stevenson was a partner with the firm Stevenson & Stevenson in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Madam Justice Layden-Stevenson is a graduate of the UNB Faculty of Law and we were pleased to welcome her back to speak to students.
