Mr. Justice Michel Bastarache Visits UNB Law

The Honourable Mr. Justice Michel Bastarache received an honorary degree from the University of New Brunswick on October 19th, 2006. On October 20th, Mr. Justice Bastarache visited the law school to speak to students about the work of the Supreme Court of Canada. Among other matters, Mr. Justice Bastarache spoke on the Supreme Court's decision making process and the clerking program. After the well received presentation, Mr. Justice Bastarache mingled with students and faculty at a reception in the Student Lounge.
