François M. Beaulieu

François M. Beaulieu of Saint John received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the Université de Moncton in 1988 and his Bachelor of Laws degree in 1997, at which time he joined the law firm Clark Drummie. He spent the following 9 years conducting a general practice in the areas of criminal prosecution, insurance and commercial litigation, real estate, medical malpractice, and as an interest-based negotiation trainer and facilitator. He holds a Master of Laws degree with a specialization in alternative dispute resolution from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto. François is currently a solicitor for the City Solicitor's Office at the City of Saint John and is a part-time faculty member at the Faculty of Law at the University of New Brunswick where he teaches negotiations. He also teaches at the Faculté de droit at the Université de Moncton and is an instructor for the New Brunswick Law Society Bar Admission Course, negotiations module. François is a former vice-president of the Edmundston Chamber of Commerce, and has served on the Board of Directors of Family Services Saint John Inc. and the Association Régionale de la Communauté francophone de Saint-Jean, and is past chair of the Citizens Advisory Group for Saint John's Vision 2015 Program of Excellence. He also served on the organizing committee for the Jeux de l'Acadie of 2010 and was co-chair of Celebrations 1604-2004. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Horizon Health Network.
