Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology

The Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (BScKin) program provides a solid theoretical and practical foundation in human movement and performance in relation to exercise, sport, work, and wellness.
Our program is nationally accredited CCUPEKA. This assures students the highest quality of teaching. The professors who teach your classes are also leading researchers in their field. You will be on the leading edge of science, using the latest equipment and technology and learning from the experts.

We offer individualized courses that allow you to specialize in an area or activity that interests you, such as
- Directed Studies: Undertake an independent research project in an advanced area of study you wish pursue.

Align your program to your career goals
Our program options allow you to focus your degree, giving you an advantage in the workplace or graduate school.
- Minor in Ergonomics: Ergonomists help prevent illness and injury in the workplace. We are the only Kinesiology program in the Maritimes with this option.
- Honours Program: You will work with one of our faculty in their area of research, or conduct a research project of your own.
Get valuable work experience
Practicum opportunities are available to all Kinesiology students. You may choose to volunteer at a physiotherapy clinic, for example, which also counts as a credit toward to your degree.
