Welcome Undergrads

Academic Dates 2012-2013

Three important things you need to know early as a current student are the people who administer the  undergraduate program, where they are located and your Student Record Sheet (SRS).

People

The staff in the Undergraduate (KIN) Office are a friendly group, committed to helping you succeed. All Kinesiology students are encouraged to drop into the KIN office for academic advising or help with any challenges you are facing. If we can’t help directly, we will certainly point you in the right direction.  Feel free to stop by the KIN office or if you wish to set up an appointment, email or phone first.Back: Leslie, Jeff. Kin Office

Although much of your contact with the program office can be conducted by email or phone, many students prefer to meet in person... and we love seeing you!  The office is located on the second floor of the Lady Beaverbrook Gymnasium, Rm C201.

Student Record Sheet (SRS)

When you begin your academic career in the Kinesiology Faculty, whether it be the BRSS or BScKin program, you will take certain courses, meet new people, get involved and before you know it your adventure will lead you to a completed degree. BUT, how do you know which courses to take?

Your degree program is specific to the year you entered the Faculty.  The undergraduate office maintains a Student Record Sheet (SRS) for each individual, which specifies the courses you need to earn a degree. Your academic advisor, Gillian McLean, uses your SRS to keep track of your degree progression, from first term to graduation.  You can pick up a copy of your SRS in the KIN Office or request a copy from Leslie Harquail.
