FAQ

Where can I go for HELP?

There are a variety of services on-campus to help you, such as the Writing and Study Skills Centre, Math Help Centre, Counselling Services, and Student Accessibility Centre. You can search most of these services on the Student Services website. However, if you don’t know where to turn or where to start, please stop into the Kinesiology Office to see your academic advisor, Jaime Campbell. She is here to help you.

I’m not doing well in one of my courses, what can I do to improve?

First, speak to your professor and ask for help. Second, attend tutorials, seek out other students who are doing well in the course to help you, ask other students to form a study group. Third, check out the Academic Support page to view possible tutors for the particular course.

I’ve failed an exam. What do I do now?

You should review the exam to see what you answered incorrectly. If you don’t understand the instructor’s marking, schedule an appointment with him/her to go over your exam together. He/she should give you some advice about how you can prepare for the next exam. If you feel that your exam was not marked fairly, please see your academic advisor, Jaime Campbell.
