Dean's Message

Welcome to the Faculty of Kinesiology at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton.  As a Faculty, we take pride in the quality and scope of our programs.  At UNB, Kinesiology includes four main programs:

Our students also have a number of opportunities to combine classroom learning with practical experience through our experiential education practicum and internship options.

UNB Kinesiology students are known for their school spirit, and our undergraduate student society is always welcoming new members and organizing many events throughout the year.

At the graduate level, our relatively small size allows us to foster close working relationships between our graduate students and their research supervisors.  Many of our graduate students have won awards for their work at national and regional scholarly conferences.

The research conducted in our Faculty ranges from exploring the processes underlying motor control to investigating volunteerism at national events, and assessing the indices of fatigue in lifting tasks in industry.  Please view our faculty profiles for more information about the depth and breadth of our research.

We would be happy to meet with you, to answer your questions by e-mail or telephone, or give you a tour of our facilities.
