The Sustainable Forest CURA at UNB is pleased to announce a monthly Seminar Series for 2011–2012. We have a suite of distinguished national and international guest speakers who will be delivering free public seminars on a range of topics about issues connected to sustainable forest management.
We are delighted that Peter Lee from Global Forest Watch Canada, speaking about protected natural areas, will be our inaugural guest, and monthly notices will be circulated as reminders for future speakers beginning in November. The speakers and dates are listed below (no seminar in December) and those in 2011 are on the attached poster. A poster for 2012 will be circulated at a later date. Please join us at the Hugh John Flemming Forestry Centre, K. C. Irving Theatre from 3:00 to 4:30 pm on any or all of the dates you are available. A light reception will follow each presentation and you are asked to please RSVP Jeanne Moore to facilitate planning.
(Each seminar has been approved by the Association of Registered Professional Forests of NB for 5 CFE credits.)
All presentations are scheduled from 3:00 to 4:30 pm at the Hugh John Flemming Forestry Centre (K.C. Irving Theatre), with a light reception to follow in the foyer.
