Master of Science in Engineering (MScE) Requirements
The MScE is a research degree for which a thesis as well as course requirements must be completed. Candidates will generally possess a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a first or second division standing from this University, or its equivalent from another university. For some research fields, consideration will be given to applicants whose undergraduate degrees are in appropriate related disciplines. The normal course load for the MScE degree is 4 courses (a minimum of 12 credit hours). MScE students, within the first 12 months of registration for the degree, should write a research proposal and pass an oral examination based on the proposal and field of study.
