Faculty/Staff Graduate Prize
This is an annual prize of $1,000, established by the faculty members and staff of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, awarded to the student who has attained the highest standing (GPA) in the final year of Mechanical Engineering and joined graduate studies in Mechanical Engineering in the following academic year.
This prize was established in 2002 from donations by the staff and faculty of the Department of Mechanical Engineering in recognition of the role graduate studies play in enriching our academic programs and equipping our graduates with advanced skills. The winner of the prize is informed by the Department early in the fall term.
